JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking for a Supplier Development Technician to join our team located in Lousado - Portugal. This role is a leading self position and will be performed in Lousado reporting to the Head of this area in Hannover (Germany) and locally to its representative.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for:
Develop, Implement, and Manage the Supplier Performance Management (SPM) process, in all its dimensions (including preparation and execution of survey cycles), for all suppliers of Production and Non-Production Materials;
Manage, all tools needed to handle the SPM process activities, following the execution and due dates for all the processes;
Provide expert consultancy and training to the stakeholders on all subjects regarding the SPM process (Production and Non-Production Materials purchasers, Quality, R&D teams, Engineering, etc), before, during, and after the survey cycles);
Prepare reports for selected subjects;
Support the development of other tools used by Supplier Development.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Business Management, Engineering, Economics or similar areas of study;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis or in closely related areas;
- Experience in cross-functional projects;
- Basic Project Management experience;
- Analytical thinking;
- Autonomous working ethic;
- High level of intercultural sensitivity (frequent contacts with people located in several areas of the world);
- High ability to work in a (virtual) teams, using collaborative tools;
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken): minimum B2 European level;
- High proficiency in IT tools (ERPs; Office 365, namely Power BI, Excel,…);
- In this role its expected to have a ratio of maximum 20 % of the time traveling and working abroad.
